RedSea Pictures is a film production company based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded by Peter Redhead and Harry Seward, RedSea Pictures was born out of a desire to make the movies that the pair wanted to see.
Our aim is to create sincere and entertaining movies with a focus on quality execution. Simply put, we wish to tell timeless stories that resonate with audiences.
Peter and Harry met at university after being forced into the same room to film comedy sketches. The duo bonded quickly over absurd comedy, (good) blockbuster cinema, and David Bowie - among other things. They’ve been making movies ever since.
PETER REDHEAD
Peter is a screenwriter and self-taught filmmaker. With a B.A. in English Literature, he wrote, directed, edited, and composed music for his debut feature Partners in Crime, showcasing a multidisciplinary approach to storytelling.
Peter specialises in blending comedy with genre elements, and crafts scripts that embrace production constraints as creative opportunities.
HARRY SEWARD
Harry is a producer and actor with more than ten years experience in film and theatre. His background in media and advertising, as well as his love of a good yarn, allows Harry to bridge the gap between the commercial and the creative.
